Planning Concerns

The Parish Council is consulted on planning applications. If you have an opinion on an application, please let the clerk or councillors know as soon as possible within the 21-day consultation period.

Defibrillators and Phoning 999 for Location and Access Details.

The Parish Council have bought and installed three Defibrillator machines over the last few months. One at Esso Garage, Culcheth, one at Victorian Tea Rooms, Glazebury and a replacement for the one at the Scout Hut, Culcheth. These machines are on outside walls so accessible 24/7. The procedure for accessing a defib machine is firstly to phone 999 and ask for an ambulance. Tell them your location and that you have a patient who appears to be in cardiac arrest or has severe chest pains. The administrator will check the system to find the nearest Defib machine to your location and will give you directions and a code to open the cabinet to access the defib machine. They also will ensure an ambulance is actioned.

 Planting Trough Outside of Library.

Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council would like to acknowledge the commitment and effort that John and Jean Riley have demonstrated by keeping the Trough at the front of Culcheth Library planted with seasonal flowers.  They have maintained this floral display at their own expense for over 20 years. The Parish Council thanks them for their effort to brighten and enhance the community space.

Next Meeting 7:30pm on Tuesday 14th March 2023 at Glazebury Methodist Church.
